Our objective while making the compact Rough Riders was to deliver a grip option to Concealed Carriers that provided great tactile feel and texture, while avoiding overly aggressive checkering that would be uncomfortable to carry close to the body for extended time. We executed this by testing over a dozen checkering patterns, and the final product provides the balance we set out for.
We also decided to beef up the Rough Riders by adding some thickness. While not a "palm swell" style, they are over .0400" thicker than the OEM aluminum grips. This feature aids in the overall feeling of a more "complete" grip on your pistol.
Finally, we wanted them to look good. The Rough Riders are available in a variety of standard colors with custom options for anodizing available.
The compact Rough Riders will fit the compact CZ75, PCR, P01 and other clone variants.
Precision machined from 6061 aircraft aluminum and Type II anodized right here in St. Louis, MO.
*Due to variations in frames and manufacturers over the years, some aftermarket parts may require fitting. We always suggest the services of a qualified gunsmith. Anodizing is an electrochemical process which forms a protective layer of oxide around aluminum parts. The colors produced by this process can vary from batch-to-batch, and even part-to-part. Lighting, angles of photos, and even the type of screen the photo is being viewed on can impact what the colors look like. We do our best to give you the most accurate and consistent colors we can, and thank you for understanding slight variations.
