About our Shadow 2 Compact grips
Palm swell or thin
Two profiles. The palm swell measures 1.47″ and fills the hand, with the swell placed where it lifts your grip higher into the gun. The thin profile measures 1.15″ and mimics the dimensions of the OEM aluminum grips — the one to pick if you carry the gun.
Patterns for the Shadow 2 Compact
- Krakens — our signature checkering. Each hex has a contoured boss inside it, so you get a positive purchase without the pattern chewing up your hands.
- Dymondbacks — deep diamond cuts inspired by rattlesnake scales. The most aggressive texture we make.
- Solid Copper Krakens — the Kraken pattern cut from solid copper. Weight down low, and a finish that patinas with use.
Anodizing
Every set is anodized in house, which is why we can offer the color range we do, and why we can run your grips, basepads and mag release button in the same batch so they actually match. Type II anodizing is an electrochemical process, and color varies slightly batch to batch and part to part.
Common questions
Will these fit my Shadow 2 Compact Carry?
Yes. The Compact and the Compact Carry use the same grip, so one set covers both.
Do Shadow 2 Compact grips fit a full-size Shadow 2?
No. The frames are different sizes. Full-size grips are here.
Which profile should I pick?
Palm swell if you want the gun to fill your hand and you shoot it mostly at the range. Thin if you carry it, or if you have smaller hands and want an easier reach to the trigger.
Can I get basepads and a mag release to match?
Yes, and order them at the same time. Add them from the dropdowns on the product page and everything is anodized together in one batch, which is the only way to guarantee the colors match.
Do these need fitting?
Frames vary between manufacturing years, so some aftermarket parts may need light fitting. If anything needs work, we suggest a qualified gunsmith.
