The Krakens.
Our signature checkering pattern blends function and art into a grip that encourages proper fundamentals and techniques. Inspired by the tentacles of an octopus, each hex features a contoured boss, while the contour of our palm swell design naturally lifts your hands higher into the pistol.
Each set is precision machined from 6061 aircraft aluminum and then finished in the Type II anodizing colors of your choice. Select frame size and add matching basepads and a mag release button from the dropdown menus.
*Basepads fit Mecgar 15 & 17 rd magazines with the circle interface.
*Shadow 2 Mag Release button requires a Shadow 2 Mag Release to be installed on the pistol.
*Due to variations in frames and manufacturers over the years, some aftermarket parts may require fitting. We always suggest the services of a qualified gunsmith. Anodizing is an electrochemical process which forms a protective layer of oxide around aluminum parts. The colors produced by this process can vary from batch-to-batch, and even part-to-part. Lighting, angles of photos, and even the type of screen the photo is being viewed on can impact what the colors look like. We do our best to give you the most accurate and consistent colors we can, and thank you for understanding slight variations.

A whole new gun
The wait time was well worth it. The palm swell made the S2C feel like a completely different gun. It feels so perfect in the hands and the dot is always there when I present it. The grip isn't aggressive but it's grippy. Very difficult to explain, but it doesn't feel rough but it just stays put in my hands. This makes me want to get a dwx compact just so I can get the nebula grips for it.

Kraken Blackout grips
I ordered the kraken blackout grips and baseplates. A week later they had a winter sale where if you bought the grips a baseplate and mag release were included free. I emailed and asked for the mag release and they sent me one free of charge and everything is perfect ! I couldn’t be happier with my shadow 2 compact now.

Krakens
These grips are outatanding. I like them much better than Lok grips or several others Ive tried. The swell grips make the gun point faster, and sit perfectly in your hands. My only only complaint is the color case harden finish I got was MUCH more mono toned than the example pictured. Kind of just copper color with a couple blue highlights. However the perfect fit and finish, upgraded handeling and ergos, and unique style, more than make up for the disipointment in color. Highly reccomend these and plan on getting a green/black pair in the future.

Quality without Question
I had a great experience with Vytal. They promptly entertained a number of questions that helped me make a final decision. Once my package arrived I was in awe over my new panels and base pads. Perfection
These Kraken palm swells feel as good as they look which is saying A LOT! In fact, I love mine so much I'm currently in the market for a 1911 so I can get myself another set! Buy with confidence folks and if you were like me I'd say just go for it, you'll love them!
